Club-tipped anemone

Description:
Tentacles with enlarged, 'club-like' tips, surrounding the raised mouth. Oral disc up to 5 cm in diameter. Column large and barrel-shaped, diameter about equal to that of the oral disc.
Color:
Tentacles and oral disc whitish, brown or lavender, often mottled and marked with flecks and splotches.
Habitat:
Inhabit caves and other dark recesses, body usually hidden, but occasionally exposed.
Distribution:
Common to occasional Bahamas, central, eastern and southern Caribean; rare northwestern Caribbean.
