Description:
Colonies are tall and dichotomously branched, up to 60 cm in height. End branches are long, straight and stiff, and 7-12 mm in diameter. Apertures pore-like and ellipsoid with the long axes orientated along the branch. Apertures not elevated, thus branch surfaces smooth.
Color:
Grayish.
Habitat:
A patch reef species, occasionally found inshore.
Distribution:
Florida and Caribbean.
