Description:
Body elongated, with big eyes. Body bright to salmon red. A brilliant white spot, just behind a small dark blotch at the rear of the dorsal fin (A. lachneri).
Size up to 6.5 cm.
Habitat:
Inhabit clear coral reefs, down to 70 m. Normally hide, may peer out from holes.
Distribution:
Occasional to uncommon South Florida, Bahamas and Caribbean.
