Description:
Colonies upright, stiff and coarse, with primary and secondary branches in nearly a single plane, up to 1.2 m. Occasionally somewhat bushy.
Color:
Bright orange brown to orange-red.
Habitat:
Inhabit most deep environments, often at the base of walls or on reef tops, down to 100 m.
Distribution:
Occasional Florida, Bahamas and Caribbean.
