Description:
Colony low, bushy, shrub-like, occasionally tall with widely spaced branches, up to 50 cm in height. Calyces low, circular, somewhat swollen, with round, central apertures.
Color:
Rods light to dark gray; polyps yellow-brown to brown.
Habitat:
Inhabit shallow, hard bottoms and patch reefs.
Distribution:
Common to occasional Florida, Bahamas and Caribbean.
