Description:
Massive-amorphous with lobate protuberances. The surface is smooth, from finely to more obviously conulose; fleshy. Consistency hard but compressible.

Color:
Cream to yellow.

Habitat:
Found at depths of 10 to 176 m; common in deeper areas of reefs.

Distribution:
Widespread in the Caribbean.
