Clathria raraechelae

Description:
Thinly incrusting, with a conspicuous characteristic vein-pattern of the canal system and oscules. Lateral expansion indefinite, often quite extensive. Consistency soft, slimy to the touch.
Color:
Mostly yellow, but grayish-purple specimens are also found.
Habitat:
Predominantly incrusting reef corals, but also found in fouling communities.
Distribution:
So far known only from Curacao and Bonaire.
