Description:
The sponge forms stony masses encrusting corals and hard substrates. Scattered oscules are 2-5 mm in diameter. The surface is smooth and the consistency is hard and brittle.
Color:
Whitish to dirty green.
Habitat:
Deeper reef slopes. The specimens are often infested with Parazoanthus .
Distribution:
Only known from Puerto Rico and Curacao.
